Exciting news! (Picture: Baby Cow)
Gavin and Stacey is officially making a comeback, five years after the last episode of the sitcom aired.
According to a new report, the beloved TV show will be returning for a Christmas special, with cast members including James Corden and Ruth Jones set to be in the cast once again.
It’s understood that the new episode will be filmed over the summer.
The last time that Gavin and Stacey was on our TV screens was in 2019, when a special festive episode saw Ruth’s Nessa get down on one knee and propose to James’ Smithy.
The instalment was left on an agonising cliffhanger, with viewers left to wonder what happened to the pair of them.
Hopefully we’ll now have our answer, with Deadline first reporting the news of the show’s comeback.
