Former EastEnders star Maisie Smith is starring in her first movie role, and we’ve got a first look of her in action.

The star, who previously played Tiffany Butcher-Baker in the soap, is set to appear in gangster flick Bermondsey Tales: Fall Of The Roman Empire.

The gritty movie set in South London tells of the downfall of a London criminal empire and follows crime boss Mick Roman, who is dying and leaving a series of unsuitable successors in his wake.

Maisie, 22, will star as Chloe, who is going to be a leading player in a mobster family.

She will appear in the film alongside the likes of Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels’ actor Alan Ford, Kidulthood’s Adam Deacon and Loose Women panellist Linda Robson.

In the first look snap the soap actress is dressed in all pink next to Linda, who plays Kath in the film.

Ahead of Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire’s release, director and writer Michael Head said: ‘It was an honour to work with such a great cast on a story based on my family history.

‘I am delighted to see it get a cinematic release and can’t wait to share this with the UK audience and hope it does my family and South London proud.’

Maisie previously made her feature film debut at the age of four when she appeared as a young Elizabeth I in 2008 film The Other Boleyn Girl alongside Eddie Redmayne, Benedict Cumberbatch and Scarlett Johansson.

She went on to land the role of Tiffany Butcher in EastEnders when she was just six – staying with the show for more than a decade before walking away in 2022.

Her exit storyline saw Tiffany leave Walford alongside her ex-husband Keegan Butcher-Baker (Zack Morris) to start a new life following the revelation that Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) had abused and murdered Keegan’s sister Chantelle (Jessica Plummer).
