Ben is to help Johnny get rid of Dean (Picture: BBC)
Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) agrees to help Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) rid Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) from the square forever in EastEnders next week.
With Johnny returning home from Manchester next week, he’s shocked to find his mum Linda (Kellie Bright) wandering the streets drunk and dazed, and is determined to find out what has caused her to hit the bottle again.
Linda’s condition has spiralled since she murdered Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) on Christmas Day while trying to defend friend Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) who was being violently attacked by him.
The two women, alongside Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) and Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth) then concealed his body beneath the floor of the café.
When grandmother Elaine (Harriet Thorpe) informs Johnny that Linda hasn’t been right since her rapist Dean arrived back on the scene, he is furious and storms over to Beale’s Eels to confront him.

In true Mitchell fashion, Ben offers to assist in sending Dean on his way – promising Callum that his scheme will be all above board and legal.
Sure Ben, sure…
We’ve seen in the past that Ben isn’t one to be messed with, and with actor Max Bowden departing the show sometime this year, could he sent down for what he does to Dean?
