Lacey Turner has taken to the red carpet with her baby bump just hours after announcing her pregnancy.

The EastEnders legend, 36, best known for her role as Stacey Slater in the BBC soap, took to social media earlier today to inform fans she was pregnant with her third child.

Now, she’s taken to the red carpet of the Inside Soap Awards 2024, glowing from head to toe with her growing midriff under a sparkling gold and black dress.

Standing alongside fellow soap stars Kellie Bright, Letitia Dean, Diane Pariah, Gillian Taylforth and Balvinder Sopal, Lacey looked chuffed to be there with her little one in tow.

The actress took to Instagram just hours ago to announce the happy news that her two children Dusty and Trilby will soon have another sibling – who will be a little boy.

The adorable announcement post featured a picture of Lacey and her partner Matt Kay alongside her two children holding baby scan photos and beaming from ear to ear.

Captioning the post, the smitten mother wrote: ‘Aren’t we lucky…’

Matt and Lacey are childhood sweethearts, and decided to tie the knot in 2017. She gave birth to Dusty in 2019 and the couple also have a son together, whose full name is Trilby Fox, who is three.

The soap star told OK! at the time: ‘Matt and I are so completely besotted with our early surprise and Dusty is so in love with her new baby brother! How lucky we all are.’

Lacey previously opened up about suffering two miscarriages in the past – including one while she was at work – in a Channel 5 documentary called Miscarriage: Our Story.

She admitted to walking around ‘heartbroken’ but carrying on as if ‘nothing had happened’ as no one ‘had a clue’.

‘You don’t understand it, you feel completely alone. There isn’t anyone who can help you, there isn’t anyone who can make it better – it’s happened,’ she said.

‘I think, actually, what we should have done was talk to each other, but because we didn’t, it made both of us really lonely.

‘Had I opened my mouth and asked someone a simple question of: “Have you ever experienced anything like that?”

‘I would have known that actually I would have had a handful of people to speak to, and I wouldn’t have been lonely at all.’
