Coronation Street spoilers: Jenny rocked to the core to discover Leo’s death – while sleeping with killer Stephen

Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) is about to get some horrifying news about her ex in Coronation Street.

Jenny’s relationship with Leo came to an end last September. The beloved character believes Leo left Weatherfield for Canada all alone because he didn’t want to be with her anymore but in reality, we know that Leo was actually murdered by Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) prior to his disappearance.

After starting a relationship with Stephen, Jenny recently put forward the idea of going on holiday.

The loved-up couple return to the cobbles soon, but Jenny’s hopes of focusing on the future are quickly destroyed when the news about Leo reaches her.

With their business plan developing, Ed and Ronnie (Trevor Michael Georges and Vinta Morgan) head to their building site.

However, it’s a digger driver who puts a stop to the hopes of building new houses, as the digger being used manages to move enough soil to uncover a dead body.

Meanwhile, a loved up Jenny tells Stephen that it’s high time he moves into the pub.

Stephen then heads back to work full of the joys, but his mood drastically changes when he hears that a body has been found on a building site.

Back at the pub, Ed confirms to Stephen that the body is a man’s and right on cue, Craig (Colson Smith) then enters and breaks the news to Jenny that the body on the building site belongs to Leo.

If he manages to this time, it won’t last for long, as the character has been seen trying to strangle Tim (Joe Duttine), contemplating an exit while at an airport, and has also been spotted at the canal where he disposed of Teddy’s body.

It’s only a matter of time until the Weatherfield residents discover the truth about Stephen, but what will happen during his final scenes?
