It seems like Cardi B has transformed into a royal enthusiast after tuning into Netflix’s The Crown, and revealed she would love to hang out with Princess Margaret.

The latest season of the drama focuses the tumultuous 90s, including the divorces of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales – as well as Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.

Series five of the hit series – which aired on November 9 – stars Imelda Staunton as the Queen and Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret.

In the first two series, the role was played by Vanessa Kirby and later Helena Bonham Carter for series three and four.

Although the Bodak Yellow hitmaker – real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus – hasn’t caught up with all the episodes just yet, fans have been living for her Twitter commentary on the key characters.

When asked about her opinion on the relationship between the then-prince Charles (Dominic West) and Camilla Parker Bowles (Olivia Williams) which is a key storyline in the latest series, the 30-year-old replied: ‘I haven’t gotten there yet… I’m on episode 13.’
