Alan Shearer has labelled Declan Rice ‘unstoppable’ and hailed Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta for his ‘clever’ new tactic involving Ben White.

The legendary Premier League striker named Rice and White in his Team of the Week while Arteta was crowned Manager of the Week by Shearer.

Arsenal were absolutely dominant on Sunday, recording their joint-largest ever away win after thumping West Ham 6-0 at the London Stadium.

Rice and White were not the only Arsenal stars to make Shearer’s Team of the Week as he also picked Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.

‘[Declan Rice was] unstoppable against his former club, setting up two goals before scoring himself,’ Shearer told the Premier League website.

‘[Ben White] adapted really well to a new role, moving in and out of midfield, and linked so well with Bukayo Saka.

‘Nothing got past [William Saliba], and he made an impact in West Ham’s box as well with his goal.
