Welcome to How I Do It, the series in which we give you a seven-day sneak peek into the sex life of a stranger.
This week we hear from Charlotte*, a straight married 44-year-old living in Birmingham, with her husband and three children.
Before this week, she would have described her sex life as ‘knackered and boring’, having sex a couple of times a month in missionary position. But now, a new TV show has reignited the passion in her marriage.
The culprit? Rivals on Disney+. The sex scenes have left Charlotte and her husband Simon* desperate for sex, and the mum-of-three has been wanting to do the deed up to twice a day.
‘I’ve never been into porn because it feels seedy to me, but Rivals is more light-hearted and fun. Watching it together has really made us both feel horny and up for it again,’ she explains.
‘We’re suddenly keen to try new places and positions, some that we’ve never tried before even though we’ve been married for twenty years!’
In fact, with three children, Charlotte says the biggest problem has been trying to keep a lid on all the moans, groans and action.
So, without further ado, here’s how she got on this week…
The following sex diary is, as you might imagine, not safe for work.

As the couple leave the toilet and walk off as if nothing has happened, Simon turns to me with a glint in his eye. His hand touches my thigh and moves up my leg towards my jeans zipper.
Normally by this time of night I’m shattered from work and looking after the kids, and ready to get my PJs on. I’ve assumed that my lack of intimacy with Simon has been the inevitable consequence of being married for so many years – couples grow distant over time, don’t they?
Right now though, I feel very turned on by what we’ve both just seen and I know Simon feels the same.
Getting up to quietly shut the living room door, I undo my jeans and pull them down, before straddling Simon on the sofa. I can feel straight away beneath his chinos that he’s hard, as he quickly pulls them and his boxers down, and slips …read more
