Kacey Musgraves
The exceptionally talented country/Americana artist just keeps delivering great albums. Musgraves’ latest effort is the pop-flavored “Golden Hour,” which was one of the most universally acclaimed releases of 2018.
The wonderfully witty singer-songwriter, who has been greatly influenced by the work of John Prine, performs Feb. 16 at the Masonic in San Francisco.

The Nels Cline 4
Cline, who is best known for his work in Wilco, visits the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley with his acclaimed two-guitar quartet on Feb. 17. The band consists of Cline and Julian Lage on guitars, bassist Jorge Roeder and drummer Tom Rainey.

Tribalistas
The Brazilian rock super group, consisting of Arnaldo Antunes, Marisa Monte and Carlinhos Brown, performs a two-night stand, Feb. 16-17, at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

Ella Mai
The rising R&B star, who reportedly draws much influence from Lauryn Hill, supports her self-titled full-length debut at the Fox Theater in Oakland on Feb. 19. Kiana Lede and Lucky Daye are also on the bill.
