
SAN JOSE – A man was shot Tuesday afternoon in South San Jose, according to police.
The shooting was reported around 12:50 p.m. near the intersection of East Capitol Expressway and Monterey Road, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post.
Officers found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to police.
Additional details about the case were not immediately available. Police did not announce any arrests.
The off-ramp to Monterey Road was closed while police investigated the shooting.
