San Francisco homicides: Shooting in Potrero Hill, stabbing near Union Square

San Francisco police on Monday reported two homicides over the weekend.

• On Friday around 9:50 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in the 600 block of Connecticut Street, in the Potrero Hill neighborhood. He died at the scene.

• On Sunday around 10:50 p.m., a 30-year-old man was stabbed on the 400 block of Geary Street, a block from Union Square. He also died from his injuries at the scene.
