San Francisco homicides: 2 dead in separate shootings


Two shootings Friday night in San Francisco left two people dead and three others injured, police said.

The first shooting occurred in the 300 block of Hunters Point Boulevard at about 8 p.m. The victim, a man who appeared to be between 45 and 50 years of age, was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Just before 9 p.m., several people were shot in the 200 block of Schwerin Street. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man
fatally shot.

Three other shooting victims were at the scene: two women ages 63 and 34 and a 46-year-old man. They were
taken to a hospital for treatment.
