Person wins almost $120,000 after buying lottery game ticket at an El Cerrito market

EL CERRITO — A trip Sunday to a Lucky supermarket here turned out to be just that for someone who won almost $120,000 playing the Fantasy 5 lottery game, officials said.

The still unknown person was one of three players statewide to select all five game numbers, which were 3, 6, 17, 18, and 33, with each of them winning $119,696.

The ticket was sold at the Lucky market located at 1000 El Cerrito Plaza.

A store employee said Monday she was not aware the ticket had been purchased there and had no idea who bought it. But she was happy for whoever they are.
