My AP preseason ballot, which was submitted at the beginning of the month, gives away our view of the top of the conference.
We like UCLA to win the regular season and contend for a Sweet 16 spot.
Arizona State should be close behind, with Oregon in contention.
The best team in the west, however, resides in Spokane.
And one of the best is in San Diego.
Alongside the teams below, I have included their placement in the AP preseason poll.
And yes, I have Arizona State ranked ahead of North Carolina and Duke.
It’s very 2020.
