All eastbound lanes on Highway 84 were temporarily closed on Thursday evening due to a multicar crash that occurred near the Dumbarton Bridge.
There were no injuries and alcohol was not a factor, according to a post that the California Highway Patrol made on the X social media platform at 9:20 p.m.
A tow truck arrived on the scene around the same time, making it possible to quickly open one of the lanes.
By 10:30 p.m., all lanes had been reopened.
