A man was fatally shot Wednesday in San Francisco’s Mission District, and two suspects were arrested, police said.

The shooting was reported around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the 2000 block of Mission Street, between 16th and 17th streets. A wounded man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, the police report said.
Homicide investigators arrested two suspects. Their names and the charges were not released, and the victim was also not publicly identified.
