McDonald’s is selling “The Little Mermaid” Happy Meals featuring characters from the Disney musical opening Friday.
The meals include one of eight figures from the movie: Ariel, the mermaid; King Triton, her father; Prince Eric, the human; Ursula, the villain; Sebastian, the crab, Flounder, the fish; Scuttle, the seagull; and Max, the dog.
The toys are incorporated into an online game at HappyMeal.com meant to be played on a cellphone or tablet.
The movie, starring Halle Bailey, is a live-action remake of a hit animated film released in 1989. That version had its own Happy Meal. If you want to compare them, the 1989 toys are on eBay.
