How Giants fans can save on tickets for the 2021 season

The San Francisco Giants have spent much of the offseason developing plans to safely welcome fans back to Oracle Park during the 2021 season.

If and when the franchise receives clearance from city and state officials to begin selling tickets this year, fans who act –and spend– quickly will have the first opportunity to secure seats.

The Giants say that fans who purchase 2021 season vouchers, which are available now through Monday, February 22, will receive early access to secure seats for specific games prior to a public on-sale date. Vouchers are being sold for $25 each and can only be purchased in sets of four, but the Giants are charging $75 for a pack instead of $100, effectively making the fourth voucher free.

The team is allowing fans who purchase 2021 vouchers to use them in any combination, meaning fans can use one voucher each for four games, two vouchers to two games or four vouchers for one game. The Giants are not allowing fans to combine the value of two $25 vouchers for a single ticket and vouchers will not be eligible to be used on Opening Day if the Giants are able to host fans for their April 9 matchup with the Colorado Rockies.

Fans will also not be permitted to combine the value of two vouchers ($50) toward the price of one ticket that costs more than $25.

The Giants say they will notify buyers and recipients of 2021 ticket vouchers as soon as health and safety guidelines are better understood and they are able to make tickets available.

The team also notes that if games are canceled, played without fans in attendance or have restricted capacity due to COVID-19, 2021 vouchers will carry over into the …read more
