Correction: Nearly four years later, Angelo Quinto’s family struggles daily to move forward

A story on the front page Sept. 29 about a family’s struggle after the death of Angela Quinto incorrectly reported that Assembly Bill 1608 had been passed by the state legislature. That bill, which would have separated county coroner offices from sheriff’s departments in all California counties, was voted down in 2022.
