Campbell crime report for the week of Oct. 22


Oct. 4

9:16 a.m. in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: A man, 40, was found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe.

Overnight in the 600 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone damaged a children’s play structure.

10:39 a.m. in the 1200 block of Camden Avenue: A man, 39, was contacted and found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

11 a.m. in the 00 block of Almarida Drive: A juvenile was contacted during a trespassing call. The suspect had an outstanding warrant for probation violation.

Overnight in the 200 block of Adler Avenue: The catalytic converter was stolen from a Honda Accord.

Overnight in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone gained entry into a restaurant and stole cash.

4:49 p.m. in the 200 block of Railway Avenue: A woman, 29, was found to be in possession of heroin, a meth pipe and prescription pills without a prescription.

5:41 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A woman, 60, caused a disturbance and was found to be too intoxicated to care for herself.

6:43 p.m. in the 500 block of West Hacienda Avenue: Someone started a fire.

9:40 p.m. at Bascom and Mcbain avenues: A man, 47, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine.

Oct. 5

Overnight in the 900 block of Camden Avenue: Someone forced entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole tools.

Overnight in the 1300 block of Dell Avenue: Someone forced entry into a storage container and two vehicles.

Overnight in the 2500 block of Winchester Boulevard: Someone forced entry into a company vehicle and stole items.

9:54 a.m. in the 00 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man, 42, was observed standing near a fire. He was found to be in possession of a torch lighter, and was under the influence of a controlled substance.

Overnight in the 200 block of East Hamilton Avenue: Someone damaged multiple windows at a business.

Overnight in the 500 block of Valley Forge Way: Someone smashed a window to a vehicle and rummaged through it.

500 block of West Hacienda Avenue: A woman pushed her boyfriend during an argument, causing bruising and possibly a broken rib.

6:30 p.m. in the 800 block of Apricot Avenue: Someone gained access into a garage and stole an electric bike.

10:35 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A man, 27, conducted a hand-to-hand drug transaction. He fled on foot but was located. He lied about his identity and was found to have an outstanding warrant. During a search of the suspect’s apartment, an officer located a gram of methamphetamine, a few containers with meth residue and marijuana. The drugs were accessible to an 11-year-old child who also lives in the apartment.

Oct. 6

1600 block of W. Campbell Avenue: The victim alleged that the suspect forced open a bedroom door that struck her on the face. She did not have a visible injury.
