Carondelet water polo player Ainsley Swann is the Bay Area News Group’s girls high school athlete of the week for Nov. 18-23.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Swann finished with 58.98% of the votes. Archbishop Mitty volleyball player Kacie Caoili was second and Leland water polo player Sophia DeScioli placed third..
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Swann, a sophomore scored six goals in a 11-6 NorCal Division I first-round victory over Acalanes. Carondelet reached the Division I title game against Sacred Heart Prep.
