The Denver Broncos are officially back among the NFLâs elite and the league-wide recognition proves it.
As Sports Illustrated noted on Tuesday, the NFL announced the 2026 Pro Bowl Games rosters, and the Broncos placed six players on the AFC squad.Â
This ties the Ravens, 49ers, and Seahawks for the most Pro Bowl selections in the league.
As DNVRâs Zac Stevens noted, âThe Broncos are tied for the most Pro Bowlers this year with 6,â a milestone that reflects just how complete Denverâs roster has become in 2025.
Itâs the franchiseâs highest Pro Bowl total since 2016 .Â
Itâs the product of real roster depth, player development, and a team trending in the right direction under Sean Payton.Â
It is also an attestment to general manager George Paton for his great roster construction.Â
The Broncos Pro Bowl SelectionsÂ
The Broncosâ six Pro Bowlers are Patrick Surtain II, Nik Bonitto, Zach Allen, Garett Bolles, Quinn Meinerz and Courtland Sutton.
Surtain earned his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl, joining Champ Bailey and Aqib Talib as the only Broncos cornerbacks to accomplish that feat.
Even after missing time with injury, Surtain remained one of the leagueâs most reliable shutdown defenders.Â
Bonitto continued his breakout run with 12.5 sacks, ranking among the NFLâs leaders and earning his second straight Pro Bowl nod.Â
Zach Allen, a first-time Pro Bowler, posted 6.5 sacks and 43 quarterback hits, becoming the first Broncos interior defensive lineman since Trevor Pryce to receive Pro Bowl honors.
Up front, Garett Bolles and Quinn Meinerz were rewarded for elite offensive line play.Â
Bolles has not allowed a sack all season, while Meinerz ranks among the AFCâs best guards in pressure rate allowed, according to Next Gen Stats.Â
Rounding out the group, Courtland Sutton earned his second career Pro Bowl selection and first since 2019, sitting on the verge of another 1,000-yard season as Denverâs top wideout.Â
Broncos Finally Get the Respect They DeserveÂ
What makes Denverâs six Pro Bowlers stand out is their balance.Â
The Broncos split their selections evenly between offense and defense, a rare feat that shows how well-rounded this team has been on both sides of the ball. Â
Three offensive linemen and skill players earned nods, while three defensive standouts were rewarded for anchoring one of the league’s best units.
This depth has translated directly to wins.Â
Denver is enjoying its best stretch of football in more than a decade, stacking winning seasons and playoff appearances after years of instability.Â
Pro Bowl recognition often favors star-heavy teams, but the Broncosâ selections highlight consistency across the lineup rather than reliance on a single superstar.Â
It also explains why Denver finished with the second-most fan votes of any NFL team, with 15 players landing in the top 10 at their respective positions.Â
This is a sign of both national respect and renewed fan confidence in Denver.Â
Six Pro Bowlers. Three first-timers. League-wide respect restored.Â
The message from Denver is clear: this team is just getting going, and its ambitions stretch well beyond the Pro Bowl.
