The Daily News girls basketball Top 15 rankings for December 22, 2025:

1. Sierra Canyon (9-1, 0-0): 2025 Daily News Player of the Year Jerzy Robinson made her season debut on December 10 against Rancho Christian. Sierra Canyon will play in the Desert Holiday Classic in Palm Springs from December 26-30.

2. Oak Park (8-3, 0-0): Oak Park is playing in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic in San Diego from December 27-30. Transfers Maya Urteaga and Diana Sorrondo will be eligible this week for Oak Park.

3. Valencia (10-1, 3-0): Valencia is competing in the West Coast Jamboree in the Bay Area from December 27-30.

4. Harvard-Westlake (4-6, 0-0): The Wolverines have won three straight games after starting the season off against very talented competition.

5. Thousand Oaks (12-1, 0-0): Aryanna Lopez and Jillian McGillivay are both averaging just over 15 points per game to lead the way offensively for the Lancers.

6. Oaks Christian (10-4, 0-0): Presley Kushner has been one of the best scorers in the area so far this season, averaging 22 points per game. The Marmonte League girls basketball race between Thousand Oaks and Oaks Christian will be an interesting one to follow this season.

7. Notre Dame (6-4, 0-0): Notre Dame is competing in the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas. They will take on Overland of Colorado in the semifinals Monday night.

8. Village Christian (8-4, 0-0): The Crusaders have won five straight games.

9. Campbell Hall (7-2, 0-0): Campbell Hall is playing in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic in San Diego from December 27-30. They’re scheduled to be in the same tournament division as Village Christian.

10. Birmingham (10-2, 0-0): Birmingham is currently competing in the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas. They play Palo Verde of Nevada Monday in the semis and could potentially face Notre Dame in the tournament finals Tuesday.

11. Saugus (8-3, 3-1): Saugus will play some solid competition in the next couple weeks with games against Harvard-Westlake and Birmingham.

12. Granada Hills Charter (8-4, 0-0): Granada Hills is competing in the Trinity Classical Academy girls basketball tournament in Santa Clarita from December 26-30.

13. Alemany (7-5, 0-0): Alemany is competing in the Surf City Classic in Huntington Beach from December 26-30. The Warriors have played a tough schedule to start the season, including games against Village Christian and Campbell Hall.

14. Canyon (7-8, 2-1): Canyon is currently competing in the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix. Darby Dunn has been one of the more prolific scorers in the area this season, averaging 24.9 points per game.

15. Viewpoint (9-1, 0-0): Viewpoint has won seven straight games. The Patriots have already improved their win total from last year by two, when they only won seven games.
